TweetForce some change in her life, make her do different things, time consumed so she can't do most of it at her discretion. However, i have an aunt that just stuck her head in the sand and told me my nephew was doing great....while we were standing outside the courtroom waiting to hear his burglary charge!!!
TweetNeed to get her involved in something that occupies her time and takes her away from this. Normal if they get bad, you will see a change in friends -doers hang with dealers
TweetThis is my sisters daughter. For the past couple of months whenever I see her I notice she has really bad face acne. She is thin and obsessed with thinking she is fat. My sis tells me sometimes she stays out all night. She also has been having double vision and headaches. My first instict was drug usage or I am even thinking some kind of eating disorder. My sis is naive to these toughts of mine. My insticts are right a lot of times. I think I will confront my niece myself and see how she reacts. I think of her like my own and this worries me a lot.

Tweeti actually thaught my nephew was smoking pot, so i just used physical threats on him. he kinda chuckled until i took the keys to his car and started tearing through it, asking where the pot was...then, later that night, when a friend came over their house, i took the friend outside for a walk with my nephew and gave him my cell #. i told him if he ever narks nick out, it's worth 100$ to him....if i findout, through other friends i got watching both of them, that he covers for nick...i'll kick the fuk out of him. i think nick quit, lol

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
Tweetyoushould also consider getting bloodwork done- that will tell you alot. I'm sorry to hear this- I'm with you on the eating disorder other than the all night outings.
Tweetwe had/have the same problem with my cousin. He's 20 now and his mom still sticks up for this kids habits. the problem has been sisnce the day he ws born. The mom thinks the best way to raise a child is to be/act as their best friend as opposed to parenting.
Tweetwell, if your instincts are right alot, and you have a close relationship, imho, go with the instinct
confrontation, as a first move usually causes the person to shut down, versus open up, try a one on one in a comfortable situation, lunch or coffee, and talk life stuff, like how it was for you at 18, and how maybe times have changed, and see if you can feel her out on anything at all
first goal is to get information, knowledge
be supportive and point out all the things you love and admire about her, be specfic with examples and then say, you've noticed some small, changes and wondered if anything you could help her with
these things rarrely turn on a dime so be patient
good luck
TweetMy first thought was eating disorder baby1... but the being out all night doesn't seem consistent. Then again, she could be doing the drug thing to keep her weight/appetite down. Does she tend to be a perfectionist? Good grades, etc.?
If you do confront her, do it gently. The first stage of an eating disorder (and/or drug use for that matter) is denial, and breaking through that can be really tough.

Thank you for the advice. I have been told in the past that I have very good, and strong, instincts and my instincts tell me that something is not right.

Thanks and I don't expect her to admit to it right away. So i will continue to keep my eyes and ears open.

That is exactly what I thought. She is often very bubbly and energetic and don't know if meth does this.
