TweetHoly crap! I had no idea Serra won. Dang it, I need to get Pay Per View, I hate being the last one to find out stuff.
As for Scalley's comment, it's a lot easier when you fight someone for the second time. GSP got rocked by Hughes the first time and he knew exactly how to train for Hughes. It happend with Coture and Liddell too. Once you fight a guys once, if you can get a rematch soon, you know what to avoid the next fight. GSP didn't look near as aggressive as he did in the Hughes fight because he really didn't know what to expect from Serra. I'll give the dude credity though, he took several hard hits before he went down. He wasn't giving up very easily which makes the win that much sweeter for Serra. GSP is no chump and if he gets to fight Serra again, he'll be a different guy the next time.
Man, belts are changing left and right. That makes the sport fun IMO. I can't stand when the same dude is at the top for a long time. I like when things get shook up and Serra definately shook things up.
Tweetwow I never would have expected that. Thanks a lot fit for posting it!
Tweetim glad serra won, hes a hometown guy..i didnt expect him to have any chance standing up though.
