Tweeti have the nano and ipod video. both work perfect for me. sorry you had troubles.
TweetSucks ass! I bought two of them for Christmas, One for me and one for Mrs. D-S. $498.00 worth of Junk!!! I spent all day on the phone with Apple customer service which sucks cause I knew more about my damn computer system than the guy did from Apple. Then another half a day yesterday on the phone with Dell trying to do a 3-way call with Apple (That was a Joke) trying to figure out who was at fault for my shit not working and getting error messages. When it was all said and done I had one Ipod not working properly still and one Ipod that the memory was completely erased because the guy from Apple was trying to show me how to reformat the Ipod.
So, Mrs. D-S threw the boxes away (just like a woman) and I had $500 bucks of shit laying in front of me. I called Circuit City back and they wouldn't take them back without the box. I raised hell until they did take them back since I had my receipt and told them that I would just cancel the payment since it had only been two days since my purchase. We win!!
Long story short, Everyone should try out the CREATIVE Zen Nano Plus ($139.99) It has a 4.9 customer rating v/s the 4.5 Apple Ipod Nano out of a possible 5.0. Plus it saved me hundreds. If you don't need a Mp3 player that holds more than 250 songs and you can do without the video screen then this is a great Mp3 Player! Very user friendly and works better with Microsoft Windows than the Apple. It took about 15mins to install and have music transferred to the Mp3!!!

TweetThis is the error and message that I kept getting after installing Apple software and trying to run. https://oca.microsoft.com/en/response...5667e2&SID=623
Tweethmmm. did you have quicktime installed BEFORE you installed Itunes? did you try uninstalling quicktime and itunes and just reinstalling itunes by itself? well, i guess it doesnt matter now, since you got the zen
Tweetwell damn, I was going to buy a nano. Does this problem happen to many people?
TweetI got one of the iRiver's about 2-3 years ago and I'm more than happy. Mine came by recommendation of a guy I know who is an avid snowboarder. It's not much bigger than a tube of Chapstick and the guy said he had fallen on it mroe time than he could count. Got it completely soaked several times and has taken the thing through totaly hell and it never quit working. Mine only hold about 35 songs but that's 2 workouts and all the music I have on it are my favorite gym tunes anyways. So for me, it was perfect. I never needed the one that holds hundreds and hundreds of songs.
TweetI almost bought one of those until I did some more research and read some reviews. If I get tired of the 250 songs it holds I can just delete them and put 250 more on there.... No need for 500 or 1000 songs on a player.
TweetThat's what I do. If I get tired of some songs I just replace them. It only takes a couple minutes.
TweetYeah this one has drag and drop features that lets you change tunes in seconds
TweetiRiver is what I have and it's the best mp3 player I've ever owned....Oh shit, it's the only one I've ever owned
Tweetipod video is hot. i have like 8 full length movies, 14 tv shows and 12 music videos. and my music
