      A different text article.

More sinister than Karl Rove and potentially deadlier than Dick “Darth Vader” Cheney, his name is Rahm Emanuel, and he was recently appointed chief of staff in the president-elect’s White House. This first official act should send waves of alarm through people because Barack Obama promised change, but what we’re getting is the exact same cabal that brought us 9-11 and endless war in the Middle East.

Initial media reports described Emanuel as a vulgar, Chicago-based enforcer who had an aggressive, in-your- face, pit-bull style. Others painted him as a partisan Washington insider with strong ties to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).Although these labels seem harsh, the reality is far worse.

Rahm Emanuel, nicknamed “Rahmbo,” is a pro- Israel Orthodox Jew who was educated in a Talmudic yeshiva and served as a volunteer in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). He is a dual citizen of Israel, which his office refused to deny when AFP inquired. Israel is the only nation where Americans can apply for and obtain citizenship without automatically renouncing U.S. citizenship.

Some Americans are unilaterally proclaimed citizens of other countries, as when an American GI marries a French girl and becomes an automatic citizen of France. But if the GI applied for and obtained French citizenship, he would lose his American citizenship. It is impossible to be a 100 percent loyal American and have an ounce of loyalty to another country; there is no #101 percent and the interests of Israel and the United States are not always synonymous.

Those familiar with the 9-11 terrorist attacks know that the IDF was instrumental in training the Dancing Israelis who—from a rooftop in Weehawken, N. J.—had the foreknowledge to videotape both WTC towers being struck by kamikaze jetliners, then celebrate afterward.
Mentored by members of Chicago’s corrupt party machine like convicted Congressman Dan Rostenkowski, Emanuel gravitated to Washington in 1991 after becoming Bill Clinton’s campaign finance committee director. His star rose even higher when he served as one of the primary NAFTA architects and pushed strict anti-gun legislation. After leaving his post as a policy aide for the Clintons, he used his influence as an investment banker to rake in millions during the late 1990s. With this money, Emanuel won a congressional seat in 2002, became the fourth ranking House Democrat by 2006, and is now the most powerful member of Obama’s executive office team.

      FAMILY HISTORY OF VIOLENCE
What truly makes Emanuel dangerous is that his Israeli-born father Benjamin was an integral member of the Zionist terror group known as Irgun during the 1940s. Along with another notorious terror outfit—the Stern Gang—Irgun bombed Jerusalem’s King David Hotel in 1946 where 96 people were killed; while also instigating the 1948 Deir Yassin Massacre.
Rahm Emanuel is the son of a terrorist who directly plotted the assassination of Count Bernadotte, a Swedish diplomat and United Nations envoy who tried to broker peace in Palestine. But Irgun didn’t seek treaties. It instead sought racial cleansing and genocide. According to Elisabeth Bumiller in The New York Times, Benjamin Emanuel passed secret codes to Shin Bet bomber and future Prime Minister Menachem Begin. These very same Jewish terrorists eventually became the recognized Israeli government in 1948, as well as predecessors to Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing Likud Party.

      OBAMA’S SVENGALI
Rahm Emanuel likes to brag about his role in discovering Barack Obama. “Six years ago, people on the North Side of Chicago took a bet on a young kid,” reporter D.H. Williams writes of their symbiotic relationship.
“Rahm and Barack have a deep history together in Chicago politics. Emanuel has been instrumental in the rise of Barack Obama from neophyte senator to the next president of the United States. Getting virtually no media attention, Rahm Emanuel has been by Obama’s side during most of the last two years on the campaign trail.”

If Karl Rove was George W. Bush’s architect, the same can be said of the Emanuel connection. When Obama bowed and groveled at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) convention on June 4, 2008, it was Emanuel who escorted him to meet the executive board afterward.
Emanuel has been the operative who, according to the Chicago Tribune, “remade the Democratic Party in his own image.” Illinois Rep. Ray LaHood (R) seconded this notion. “He legitimately can be called the golden boy of the Democratic Party today. He recruited the right candidates, found the money and funded them, and provided issues for them. Rahm did what no one else could do.”

Worst of all, Emanuel is a rampant warmonger who takes his cues from the neo-cons. In his book The Plan: Big Ideas for America, he wrote, “We need to expand the U.S. Army by 100,000 more troops.”
What will America’s next target be under an Obama presidency? Sources close to Emanuel say that he has a “Zionist obsession with Iran.”
To get a final idea of what we’re dealing with, consider this quote from U.S. war journalist Pat Dollard:

Letme tell you right now, no exaggeration. Rahm Emanuel is the devil. He is . . . a Goebbels, a Mengele, a perfect Cromwell who would, without the
faintest evidence of hesitation washing across his face for even a millisecond, order and even personally execute each and every human being he or Obama perceived to be an enemy of the regime. And if you ever personally offended him, and he had the opportunity to kill you, he would probably do it by starting with your children as you were made to watch. He is a bad guy.

Some researchers have gone so far as to claim that Emanuel was the notorious “Mega” spy deep inside the Clinton administration who passed top-secret documents about Iran on to the Israeli government, causing a great deal of chaos among the various intelligence agencies. Be very wary of this man. Like the “Prince of Darkness” Richard Perle and Michael Chertoff before him (both of whom hold dual U.S.-Israeli citizenships), it may well be proven that his loyalties rest more with a fabricated little state in the Middle East than they do with us.

He is a piece of trash imo. There was a politician on talk radio explaining how Rahm was at a private dinner with Democrats one evening and he named Republicans that he did not like and after each name he would sat "DEAD" and stab a knife into the table. This guy is a real wacko. What I don't understand is how people like him can get clearances to secret information.

hmm. This conflicts with everything Obama seemed to stand for. It never ceases to amaze me how democrat politicians will just say what's needed, whatever is popular, whatever will get them elected.
Evidently Obama is drawn to radical personalities. He could be a dangerous one that Obie. He's cool, calm and collected, and sells it like cool-aide to kids. While he's obviously digging in to what these bad influences are feeding him. They're a motivated group too. Leading the way now. I just can't wait to see what our new leader is compelled to do and un-do.

So show me where he did not have dual citizenship with Israel.

Show me where he didn't volunteer to fight in a war for Israel as THEIR soldier.

Yell like this? If this isn't fear mongering then what is?

Obama warns of dire consequences without stimulus

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Barack Obama said Thursday the recession could "linger for years" unless Congress pumps unprecedented sums from Washington into the economy.

"I don't believe it's too late to change course, but it will be if we don't take dramatic action as soon as possible," Obama said in a speech set to be delivered at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., outside Washington. Excerpts from his prepared text were released in advance by his transition team.

RECESSION: Economy projected to shrink 2.2%

It was the fourth day in a row that Obama has addressed this front-burner issue and it was the highest-profile appearance yet on an issue that can define his early months in office.

His events have increasingly taken on the trappings and air of the presidency, with the speech — coming a full 12 days before he takes over at the White House — a particularly showy move. Presidents-elect typically stick to naming administration appointments and otherwise staying in the background during the transition period between Election Day and Inauguration Day, but Obama has clearly made the calculation that a nation anxious about its economic outlook and eager to bid farewell to the current president, George W. Bush, needs to hear from him differently and more frequently.

Indeed, the economic news is grim.

"A bad situation could become dramatically worse," Obama said, painting a dire picture — including double-digit unemployment and $1 trillion in lost economic activity — that recalled the days of the Great Depression in the 1930s.

Consumers and companies are folding under the negative forces of a collapsed housing market, a global credit crunch and the worst financial crisis since the 1930s. The recession, which started in December 2007, already is the longest in a quarter-century.

A report due out the same day as Obama's speech is expected to show that the number of newly laid-off people signing up for state unemployment insurance last week rose to 540,000, up from 492,000 in the previous week. The number of people continuing to draw jobless benefits is projected to stay near 4.5 million, demonstrating the troubles the unemployed are having in finding new jobs.

For all of 2008, employers probably slashed payrolls by at least 2.4 million. That's based on economists' forecasts for a net loss of 500,000 additional jobs in December, as well as the job losses previously reported. Some, however, think the number of jobs cut last month will be higher, around 600,000 or 700,000. The Labor Department will release that report Friday.
A day after the release of a stunning new estimate — that the federal budget deficit will reach an unprecedented $1.2 trillion this year, nearly three times last year's record. Obama acknowledged some sympathy with those who "might be skeptical of this plan" because so much federal money has already been spent or committed in an attempt — largely unsuccessful so far — to get credit, the lifeblood of the American economy, flowing freely once again.

Such statements are coded to appeal to budget hawks in both parties, whom Obama wants to win over so that approval of a package draws wide, bipartisan support in the Democratic-led Congress.

To answer their concerns, he promised to allow funding only for what works. He also pledged a new level of transparency about where the money is going. A day earlier, he promised to tackle the out-of-control fiscal problem posed by Social Security and Medicare entitlement programs and named a special watchdog to clamp down on all federal programs.
Obama made broader arguments, too, saying that the private sector, typically the answer, cannot do what is needed now.

"At this particular moment, only government can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe," he said.
Obama's transition team and Democratic congressional leaders are working daily to hammer out the still-evolving package, expected to total nearly $800 billion. The initial hope had been to have a new stimulus package approved by Congress in time for Obama to sign it upon taking office on Jan. 20. That timeline has slipped considerably, into at least mid-February if not later.

The package is expected to include tax cuts for businesses and middle-class workers, money to help cash-starved states with Medicaid programs and other operating costs, and a huge share for infrastructure building, investments in energy efficiency and a rebuilding of the information technology system for health care. Much of the latter portions of the plan are aimed at what Obama likes to talk about as the need for "reinvestment" and not just "recovery."

Obama also promised action to address the economy's ills beyond the package, such as tackling the massive wave of home foreclosures many experts expect, preventing the failure of financial institutions, rewriting financial regulations and keeping accountable the "Wall Street wrongdoers" who engage in risky investing.

      Obama's next "Karl Rove"
Obama Warns of Irreversible Decline Without Action (Update1)
      You mean yelling like this?????????

      By Julianna Goldman

Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- President-elect Barack Obama warned that without immediate steps by the government to revive the economy, family incomes will drop, the unemployment rate could reach “double digits” and the U.S. risks losing a “generation of potential and promise.”
In excerpts of a speech he’s scheduled to give today at 11 a.m. New York time in the Washington suburb of Fairfax, Virginia, Obama says that while the cost of his economic recovery plan will add to a deficit already projected to exceed $1 trillion, he “won’t just throw money at our problems.”

“It is true that we cannot depend on government alone to create jobs or long-term growth,” Obama will say. “But at this particular moment, only government can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe.”

Obama’s speech, which aides billed as a “major” economic address, is part of a broader pitch to Congress and the American public as he works on selling his $775 billion, two-year economic stimulus plan to pull the U.S. out of a recession. While the excerpts released by his transition office didn’t provide specifics of the plan, advisers said the full speech would expand on previously reported elements.

He also will again call for using the government’s “full arsenal of tools” to unlock credit markets and “a sweeping effort” to stem home foreclosures. Obama also is promising to overhaul financial-markets regulations and crack down on “reckless greed and risk-taking” on Wall Street to restore confidence in markets.

      Quick Action Sought

Obama, who has made getting a stimulus package through Congress his top priority even before he takes office on Jan. 20, is pressing Congress to act quickly on his proposals, which include infrastructure spending aimed at creating or saving 3 million jobs and about $300 billion in tax cuts for individuals and businesses.

Yesterday, Obama said that spending in the stimulus plan would have to be geared toward programs that foster long-term economic growth -- in energy, health care and education.

As part of his effort to gain support from congressional Republicans, some of whom have questioned the price tag on the stimulus, Obama says his plan is “not just another public works program.”

      Private Sector Jobs

“The overwhelming majority of the jobs created will be in the private sector, while our plan will save the public sector jobs of teachers, cops, firefighters and others who provide vital services,” he will say.
The cost of the economic recovery package is at the high end of the range the president-elect’s advisers had been promoting and lower than the $1 trillion stimulus that some economists have called for. In the speech, he warns that it will widen the federal budget deficit, which the Congressional Budget Office yesterday forecast would hit $1.18 trillion this year.

“It will certainly add to the budget deficit in the short- term,” Obama will say. “But equally certain are the consequences of doing too little or nothing at all, for that will lead to an even greater deficit of jobs, incomes, and confidence in our economy.”

Obama has spent the bulk of his first full week in Washington since the Nov. 4 election meeting with advisers and congressional leaders to help craft the package and shore up support. He is under pressure from lawmakers in both parties to ensure strong oversight given the price tag.
      Oversight

Yesterday he named Nancy Killefer, a director at management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. and formerly an assistant secretary of the Treasury in the Clinton administration, to a new post of chief performance officer. She is charged with making the government more accountable for the money it spends.

In his speech, Obama will say the public will be able to use the Internet to view information about where the stimulus money is being spent and promises to create an economic recovery oversight board. He also will bar lawmakers from inserting pet spending projects, known as earmarks, into the legislation.

“Instead of politicians doling out money behind a veil of secrecy, decisions about where we invest will be made transparently, and informed by independent experts wherever possible,” Obama will say.
Obama speaks just hours after retailers, including Wal- Mart Stores Inc., reported that consumers pared their holiday shopping and profits were squeezed by discounts. The government also reported that the number of Americans collecting unemployment benefits surged to 4.6 million, a 26-year high.

The Labor Department may report tomorrow that the economy lost another 510,000 jobs in December, bringing the 2008 total to a six-decade high of 2.4 million, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg. The unemployment rate probably jumped to 7 percent, the highest level since 1993.

Obama urged Congress to pass the measure, which has yet to be introduced, “as quickly as possible.”

“Every day we wait or point fingers or drag our feet, more Americans will lose their jobs, more families will lose their savings,” Obama will say. “More dreams will be deferred and denied. And our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse.”

On the other post you said it was stating the obvious, and now you're claiming it is yelling, am I understanding both of your positions correctly here.

Cause that is how I hear it, which, means, confusing, which means for most folks they will stop listening, cause that is how the mind naturally works.

Yelling is more like now on fox you got Talking Points of FDR was a failure with his stimulus package. the talking point is everyone knows it.

the facts are 98% of folks were not alive then, 99.9999999999999999999% have zero hours of study of the subject, so they are all full of shyte. That is yelling about crap in my book.

Especially when this is the group that allowed earmarks to increase 32,000% over 8 years. U wonder what they were doing with there own time while rome was burning, looting, those are the statistical facts.

stouts examples of "yelling" do seem to cover your definition as well.

now, I'm confused trip. We spoke about economy and why America is what it is, and how we became the super-power we are about a year or so ago. I concluded from your thoughts then, that you would be absolutely in disagreement with Obama's proposed government of this economy. Are you agreeing that almost a trillion dollars should be pumped out to boost economy, and how & where he plans to dole it out?
