Thats a really tough question.I have so many that I consider really great actors and some are just underrated.But I guess i'll go with these.....

Sly Stallone----------Who's more bad ass than Sly?
Robert De Niro------Top 2 Mob guys
Al Pacino-------------Top 2 Mob Guys
Gary Oldman--------One of the actors that I feel in underrated.Play all roles to a T.
Anthony Hopkins----Another underrated actors IMO.Has a classy British,James Bond type of demeanor to his roles.

Great selection and u are right about Gary old an outstanding actor one of the very best.

But there are a lot more!

I would have to say with the shift from feature films to involved series that my view of
What's entertaining or good acting has really changed. I think there are a ton of great actors now...probably more than ever as the ability to work on a character in extended fashion but with a movie style budget has really made acting more involved.
